Patrick Mahomes’ Dad Says He Probably Won’t Sit with Taylor Swift and Jason Kelce at Ravens Game, Jokes

Patrick Mahomes’ dad is not ready to partake in the Swiftie-mania that might occur in Baltimore on Sunday afternoon.

During an interview on WFAN Sports Radio’s Evan & Tiki show on Thursday. retired baseball player Patrick “Pat” Mahomes Sr. revealed that he’d be cheering on his son and the Kansas City Chiefs at the AFC Championships in Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium this weekend.

But when asked if he’d be sitting alongside Mahomes’ teammate Travis Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift to watch the game he joked, “I hope not.”

“No, I don’t think so. Travis normally has his own thing and Patrick has his own deal too. … I imagine if Taylor wants her own suite, she’s got enough money to get whichever one she wants,” he went on to explain.

Swift, 34, has watched multiple Chiefs games alongside Travis’ family including his mother Donna Kelce, brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce. Pat’s daughter-in-law Brittany Mahomes is friends with Swift and regularly watches games in the same suite as the “Wonderland” singer.

In the “Evan & Tiki” interview, Pat said he’s met Swift in a suite at other games and she’s “very nice and genuine and everything.”

He went on to describe her as ” actually very down to earth.”

“Somebody that famous, you never know how that’s gonna go,” he continued, adding that she was gracious the first time they met in Brittany’s suite. She took pictures with Pat’s wife and daughter.

When asked what it was like to see Jason’s shirtless antics at Sunday’s game in Buffalo against the Buffalo Bills, he said he wasn’t in the suite with Jason, Taylor and their crew at the time, but he hung out with them after the game.

Swift isn’t confirmed to be attending Sunday’s AFC Championship yet, but Kylie Kelce told Good Morning America that she and Jason would be cheering Travis on in Baltimore. The winner of the AFC Championship will go on to play either the Detroit Lions or the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl on Feb 11.
