Bobbi Althoff confirmed she and her husband, Cory Althoff, are divorcing. “As most of you have heard, Cory and I have filed for divorce,” Bobbi, 26, wrote on Instagram late Wednesday, alongside a black and white photo of the former couple. “As sad as I am right now, I am so thankful for the time I got to be his wife.”
Cory, 34, filed for divorce from the podcaster in Los Angeles County Superior Court Wednesday, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, according to court documents PEOPLE obtained. He listed July 4, 2023, as the date of separation, three years and five months after they tied the knot on Jan. 31, 2020.
The couple are parents to daughters Isla, 1, and Luca, 3. Cory is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their children. The software company executive also checked off a box to block the court from awarding spousal support to either party.
In her statement Wednesday, Bobbi said their daughters are “so lucky to have” Cory as their father and she is “so lucky to be able to coparent with such and incredible father and person.” “While our relationship did not work out as husband and wife, we will always be friends and I will always love him,” Bobbi wrote.
Bobbi is a social media influencer who began her career on TikTok, where she shared her life as a young mother. In 2023, she began hosting The Really Good Podcast, which features interviews with celebrities that have gone viral thanks to Bobbi’s deadpan humor and uncomfortable questions. Some of her interview subjects have included Drake, Lil Yachty and Mark Cuban.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Cory is a senior vice president of software development programs at CompTIA. He only made a few appearances on Bobbi’s social media profiles, including an April 2023 promotional video for Bounty.
