The Grammy winner held her breath as she watched the final nerve-shredding stages of the game, with her boyfriend’s team the Chiefs winning over the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in Sin City with seconds to go – sending her into wild celebrations.
Then showbusiness’ hottest new couple sealed the victory with a kiss in front of millions of people, before lifting up the Lombardi Trophy together. Yet Taylor wasn’t the first woman to get in and congratulate Travis, with the star’s mother Donna running over to hug her son.
The women listened as Travis gave a brief speech, telling fans: ‘Chiefs Kingdom… how about a little Viva Las Vegas… viva Las Vegas…’
He continued: ‘The goal [has] always been to get three. Believe it baby, we’re gonna be here next year. ‘Family forever, I can’t be more proud of you guys.’ Travis then spotted Taylor in the crowd and roared ‘come here girl’ as the singer greeted him with multiple hugs and kisses and hailed the game ‘incredible’ and ‘unbelievable’.
The 34-year-old singer had flown back from Japan just hours before where she had been playing four shows at the Tokyo Dome as part of her Eras tour. Fans had been worried Taylor would not be able to make the game because of her hectic concert schedule but she managed to fly in before heading to Melbourne, Australia, to continue the tour.

It completed an epic stretch for the singer, who won album of the year a week earlier for a record fourth time at the Grammys, where she also announced a new album dropping in April before jetting off to Japan for her Eras tour shows.
She arrived at the Allegiant Stadium wearing an all-black outfit with a red jacket draped over her shoulder, alongside actress Blake Lively and rapper Ice Spice.
After wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. had scored the winning touchdown in overtime, CBS aired footage of the Cruel Summer singer and her friends jumping up and down in excitement, with popcorn and drinks getting spilled in their jubilation.
The group were joined in the suite by Travis’ divorced parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, his brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie, as well as Taylor’s mom and dad, Andrea and Scott Swift – who was wearing a Chiefs T-shirt, windbreaker and baseball cap – and her brother Austin.
Also spotted watching the game were the likes of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, and Ariana Grande. The game marked Taylor’s 13th appearance at one of Travis’ games since they went public with their romance last September.
13 is the singer’s lucky number, and she previously revealed that almost every ‘good thing’ that happened to her took place after a ’13 came up in her life.’ As a result, fans noted a number of connections that link the Super Bowl to the superstar’s favorite number.
