‘Furious’ Prince William ‘upset’ over Harry’s ‘PR’ stunt trip to visit King Charles: expert

Prince William is “upset” over his brother Prince Harry’s brief trans-Atlantic dash to see his cancer-stricken father, King Charles, according to a royal expert. The Duke of Sussex’s blink-and-you-miss-it trip to London last week saw him spend a total of 24 hours on home soil, less than an hour of which was spent with his ailing father.

And according to royal expert and author Ingrid Seward, the Prince of Wales, 41, has branded Harry’s trip as a “PR opportunity,” and has “absolutely no interest” in reconciling. “William would be upset that Harry yet again has chosen to make this visit to see his father a PR opportunity,” Seward told The Sun.

“As far as William is concerned he has absolutely no interest in speaking to Harry until Harry behaves like a gentleman and apologizes for the years of rudeness and slurs he has aimed at William and the Princess of Wales.”

Seward said that the heir to the throne “must be privately furious” that Harry used his trip as “an opportunity to announce his arrival and expect to see William,” she claims.

The royal author, who penned the 2003 biography “William & Harry,” added that the trip proved that the father of two still clings to his “impulsive” nature, and argued that he “should have waited for a week or two” before visiting.

The Post has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment. It’s believed that Harry did not see his estranged brother during his quick stint in England, nor his sister-in-law Kate Middleton, who is currently recovering from her recent abdominal surgery.

Sources close to Harry said he would have “gladly accepted” a chance to see his brother, however that opportunity did not arise, it’s understood. The day after Harry landed in the UK, he was already en route back to Montecito, Calif., to be reunited with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children.

Harry reportedly stayed at a luxe London hotel during his one-night getaway, rather than staying with family at one of their many royal residences peppered across the country.
