A source tells PEOPLE that Aniston, 55, Bullock, 59, Downey, 58, and Bateman, 55, were seen dining together at the restaurant Raf’s on Thursday, adding that the group were having “friendly conversation” like “best friends” during the dinner outing.
Another source adds, “Everyone had a great time and the food was amazing.” Air star Bateman was in New York City on Thursday to join his SmartLess podcast co-hosts Will Arnett and Sean Hayes for a taping of their podcast with President Joe Biden and former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.
After the podcast recording, which has not yet been released, the three presidents appeared together at Radio City Music Hall for a conversation with late-night host Stephen Colbert that served as a fundraiser for Biden’s re-election campaign.
Aniston and Bateman are longtime friends and costars who have appeared together in movies dating back to 2006’s The Breakup. They have also appeared together in films like 2010’s The Switch, the two Horrible Bosses movies and 2016’s Office Christmas Party.
Recent Oscar-winner Downey is a longtime friend of Aniston’s and was seen posing with her at the AFI Awards’ luncheon in Beverly Hills, California, back in January. “I got a couple other tricks up my sleeve,” Downey told PEOPLE following his first Oscar win in March. The actor will next appear in the HBO series The Sympathizer, which premieres April 14. He portrays four different characters in the show.
Bateman most recently appeared on the big screen in movies like Air and Charlie Day’s directorial debut Fool’s Paradise, both released in 2023. According to his IMDb, he has four projects in development, including the forthcoming Netflix movie Carry On, and the Zootopia sequel.
Aniston was last seen in the third season of her Apple TV+ series The Morning Show and alongside another frequent costar of hers, Adam Sandler, in their 2023 Netflix movie Murder Mystery 2.
