Keeley Hawes, 48, makes a rare outing with her model son Ralph Macfadyen, 17, as they attend the Christiane Kubrick x Jonathan Anderson launch

Keeley Hawes was accompanied by her son Ralph as they made a rare joint appearance at the Christiane Kubrick x Jonathan Anderson launch on Wednesday.

The actress, 48, shares her son Ralph, 17, and daughter Maggie, 19, with her husband Matthew Macfadyen, while she also has son Myles, 24, from a previous marriage.

At the event, Keeley posed alongside her youngest son, who is signed with the prestigious Select Model management, where he appears on their website.

Alongside his blossoming modelling career, Ralph has also already dipped his toes into the world of acting, much like his thespian parents.

At just nine-years-old, Ralph appeared alongside his dad Matthew in the 2015 drama series Ripper Street as an extra.

Ralph was reportedly disappointed to learn his non-speaking part meant he only had to run around in the background, rather than acting out a scene with his father.

Keeley previously recalled Ralph’s disappointment that he wasn’t allowed to wear a velvet top hat for the role, but the part did spark his enthusiasm for acting.

His parents Keeley and Matthew have been married for almost 20 years after meeting on the set of BBC drama, Spooks, in 2002.

Keeley, who was married to DJ and cartoonist Spencer McCallum at the time, split with her ex-husband to pursue a romance with Matthew.

The couple welcomed their first child, Maggie, just a month after tying the knot in November 2004, before having Ralph two years later.

Keeley and Matthew most recently collaborated on the 2023 drama, Stonehouse, which recalled the life and times of disgraced Labour minister John Stonehouse.

Matthew did not appear to be present as Keeley enjoyed some mother-son bonding time with Ralph at the fashion event this week.

Keeley looked chic in a black shirt dress, which she styled with a pair of red heeled pumps and a gold clutch bag.
